China Coal Group and Poly Group sign agreement to deepen strategic cooperation
On September 26, China Coal Group and Poly Group signed an agreement in Beijing to deepen strategic cooperation. Wang Shudong, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Coal Group, and Liu Hualong, Party Secretary and Chairman of Poly Group, held a working meeting and witnessed the signing. Ma Shizhi, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy General Manager, and Chief Engineer of China Coal Group, and Chen Guanzhong, Member of the Party Committee and Chief Accountant of Poly Group, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.
Wang Shudong expressed gratitude for Poly Group’s long-term support for China Coal Group and briefly introduced the recent progress in China Coal Group’s production operations, industrial development, technological innovation, and the preparation of the 15th Five-Year Plan. He stated that China Coal Group firmly implements the new energy security strategy and the dual-carbon goals, deeply promotes industrial layout optimization and structural adjustment, and focuses on three directions across coal production, consumption, and new material development: 'less manpower, unmanned,' 'less manpower, less carbon,' and 'less manpower, zero carbon.' The company will explore a 'second growth curve' according to enterprise conditions and reshape core competitiveness by cultivating new productive forces. In past cooperation, strategic mutual trust between Poly Group and China Coal Group has continuously deepened, the cooperation foundation has been continuously consolidated, and achievements have continued to expand. He hopes both sides will jointly uphold the responsibilities and missions of central enterprises, further deepen and broaden cooperation, and contribute to the implementation of major national strategies with high-quality cooperative results.
Liu Hualong welcomed Wang Shudong and his delegation, thanked China Coal Group for supporting Poly Group’s business, and introduced the development history, industrial layout, management philosophy, and 15th Five-Year Plan ideas of Poly Group. He stated that China Coal Group and Poly Group, as important strategic partners, have maintained close collaboration over the years. He hopes that this signing will serve as a new starting point for further strengthening resource sharing and complementary advantages, continuously expanding areas of cooperation, improving cooperation levels, achieving higher-level win-win development, and striving to demonstrate greater responsibility and make more contributions in the process of China's modernization.
According to the agreement, both parties will deepen strategic cooperation in mine engineering construction, coal development, civil explosives business, ecological restoration, coal mining additives, and deep processing to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.
Officials from the Group Company’s Office, Planning and Development Department, Planning and Finance Department, Coal Business Department, Pingshuo Group, and Huali Company, as well as relevant departments and units of Poly Group, participated in the aforementioned activities.
